You Can Cure Diabetes The Natural Way

The World Health Organization estimates that 220 million people around the world have diabetes. This is a metabolism disorder that results from the body's failure to produce enough insulin or has a hard time using the insulin it produces.

When the blood does not produce insulin or the production of insulin is not enough, Type I diabetes occurs. This is also known as childhood-onset diabetes and symptoms include fatigue, weight loss, too much thirst and hunger, and too much urination.

When the blood has difficulty using the insulin it produces, Type II diabetes occurs. This is also known as adult-onset diabetes and is often the result of obesity and lack of physical activity. Symptoms of this type include hypertension, dry skin, fatigue and blurred vision.

Most people who suffer from this disease need insulin shots several times a week. Fortunately though, medication is not the only cure.

Eat a healthy diet

Drink at least 16 ounces of water every two hours to ensure that your cells are properly hydrated. Go natural and eat more fruits and vegetables. You can also add Vitamins C and E supplements to your diet.

Live a healthy lifestyle

Include at least 30 minutes of exercise to your itinerary and make no excuses. Take the stairs when you can and avoid smoking.

Seek your doctor's advice

Your doctor knows what other activities you can take to help your condition. They can also help you in creating the best diet to take. Go over your suggestions with your doctor thoroughly and follow-through on the plans you make.
