Extremely convenient, delicious, and high-protein snack made even better

But I have to admit, there was a time when hard boiled eggs were more of a chore than a convenience, UNTIL I learned this simple hard boiled egg trick.  





Now, if you've ever made hard boiled eggs, you probably know that peeling them can be a royal pain in the butt.  The shell gets stuck to the egg and it can quickly become a crumbly mess.  BUT there's a simple way you can avoid this egg-peeling frustration, and that's by adding 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda to the water.

The little tricks works because one of the determining factors in the peel-ability of a hard boiled egg is the egg's pH -- the higher (less acidic) the pH, the easier it is to peel.  Because baking soda has a high pH, it makes for the perfect egg-cooking partner.

Now, to make the egg near-effortless to peel, transfer them to an ice bath and allow them to sit for a while (45 mins or so).  Egg shells are porous so given enough time the cold water will seep in and help to seperate the shell from the egg.

Once done, of course you can store your hard boiled eggs in the fridge for days for a quick, easy and convenient high-protein snack.  Some great condiments to use for your hard boiled eggs are sea salt, pepper, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and/or mustard.

Symptoms Of Diabetes. They can be silent until it is too late!

Can you substitute honey for sugar on a diabetic diet?


There really is no benefit to substituting honey for sugar.  On a diabetic diet they will bothaffect your sugar levels the same way.  If you like hone better than sugar, or if you think honey has more nutrients, then yes, but you need to count the carbohydrates the same as sugar, and, you need to restrict homey the same as you do the amount of sugar you eat per day.
