Symptoms Of Diabetes. They can be silent until it is too late!


People with type 2 diabetes often have no symptoms at first. They may not have symptoms for many years.
Early symptoms of diabetes may include:
  • Bladder, kidney, skin, or other infections that are more frequent or heal slowly
  • Fatigue
  • Hunger
  • Increased thirst
  • Increased urination
The first symptom may also be:
  • Blurred vision
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Pain or numbness in the feet or hands

Can you substitute honey for sugar on a diabetic diet?


There really is no benefit to substituting honey for sugar.  On a diabetic diet they will bothaffect your sugar levels the same way.  If you like hone better than sugar, or if you think honey has more nutrients, then yes, but you need to count the carbohydrates the same as sugar, and, you need to restrict homey the same as you do the amount of sugar you eat per day.
